Now that things settled a bit from 2015, we see the hover boards return. Resellers learned their lesson and more and more of them are now rising up. For the regular consumer it means products that are more reliable, safer and better warranty coverage. On the other hand prices did increase a bit. If a few months ago resellers were offering almost for the same price they were buying them from their manufacturers, today we see them a bit more expensive. This spike in pricing is explained by the tighter control over the quality of hover boards.
With all these things in mind we went ahead and selected the safest hover boards. This does not mean that the number of injuries or injured people will drop as that cannot be changed. We looked at models that come from a reliable source, have decent hardware and no reported battery problems. They might seem like similar models in some cases but the reseller is different and the price is different.
